| Well, you've asked and we're gonna tell you...
Well, hactually, one of you asked... and that someone is AbleGirl, a listener we consider to be our first, and for that our most treasured. THANK YOU ABLEGIRL! We salute you!
But alas AbleGirl, while Natalie has been known to peel an orange in a lecture, we kept her culinary tendencies at bay while recording took place and thus, the noise was not one of us peeling a potato while pod-casting as you thought.
It was in fact, the laptop's hard drive picked up by the onboard microphone on which we recorded the pilot, but that's just boring. Although it does make one wonder why they place a device that records sound above another device that is going to be working hard (and noisily so) to capture what said device is recordifying.
Never you mind. The Pilot episode was recorded very roughly. And we strive for perfection here, and so, we have studio quality microphones for the official first episode coming soon!
